Deeply aware of the environmental impact of traditional furniture and witnessed how complex sofa structures—filled with numerous inseparable components—turned into massive waste once they were no longer needed. This wasteful process was anything but eco-friendly, challenged Darrel to rethink the way furniture should be designed.

Darrel set out to create a new kind of furniture—one that adapts to life’s changing needs while minimizing waste. This vision gave birth to two groundbreaking collections: Qbit and Flexury.
